I've got FC3 64-bit on a Tyan K8S pro mobo, which has an ATI Rage XL
onboard video adapter. Anaconda incorrectly probes this adapter as an
ATI Mach64, which totally crashes X, so I can't run gnome at all.
In RHEL3, and other versions of fedora, anaconda allows you to manually
select the video adapter during the install, so you can change it to
Rage XL, but anaconda in FC3 doesn't seem to let me do that at all.
I also tried messing with /etc/X11/xorg.xonf in single mode, but I have
no idea what settings to change.
Anyone have an idea how I can get X working with an ATI Rage XL?
Thanks in advance,
Alex
