I've newly installed FC 3 on my Fujitsu laptop C2210 and now thinking
about setting the firewire (IEEE 1394) to set my SD Ram card reader.
I've been reading things online at linuxdoc.org and linux1394.org and
probably think that is something about SCSI...
I've tried the installation but ahh... I have not much knowledge about
the Kernel thing so I don't know is there any better way to install
the firewire. If not:
1. I'm actually wanting to store the E-books on the SD card so I may
read on my iPAQ ppc. The ppc got either the USB plug or the IR port to
sync with the laptop. Since this is not a Palm so I don't know where
to start. Any clue?
2. Is the way proposed by the linux1394.org (reading all the Kernel
HOWTOs step-by-step forward, doing all the exercise and practice) the
only way to get the fireware works, no short cut "package" so the
linux would do the "plug-and-play"?
One irrelevant question: Any Linux player for .mwv or Quick player
.mov ?
Thankz
