I'm putting together a new computer, so I stopped by CompUSA and picked
up their latest Red Hat. The box is labeled "Red Hat Professional
Workstation", but the manual says "Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3".
Now I go look and find that "Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4" has been
available since February.
So I have questions.
When will RHEL4 be released in storefront shrink-wrap?
How much different is RHEL4 from RHEL3? And how long will I spend
downloading upgrades if I install RHEL3?
The shrink-wrap package cost $99. According to Redhat's website, having
RHEL4 shipped to me will cost me $204.
Or should I just download the Fedora ISO images?
Or is there somewhere I can buy the current Fedora disks?
