thank you for the answer, first, I tried to modifie grub the line for XP
was hd1,0 I changed it for hd0,1 and it says that it's not a bootable
disk. I have 2 160 gig hard drive. First one is sata and I have 3
partitions, windows (ntfs), linux and swamp files for linux (1 gig I
think) and the second one IDE with 3 partitions, one for music (all my
cds) one for my pictures and another one for my wife, all of them fat32.
I tried # fdisk -l /dev/hda in my terminal as SU and it didn't work, I
get this message:
bash: fdisk: command not found
