I've been running an Athlon64 3200+ system at work with Fedora Core for
over a year without problems. Actually it's better then problem
free, it's rock solid. Started with FC1, then upgraded to FC2,
and now is running FC3. All my hardware was detected & worked correctly
after FC was installed and I ran yum. This included support
for an ATI Radeon 9200se video card, 7-in-1 media reader, Sony DVD RW
drive, all on-board MOBO hardware (IDE raid controller, network, sound,
usb, firewire, etc.), multiple 120 Gig IDE hard drives and all sort of
of other stuff you would find on a general PC. In case this helps, my
MOBO is a VIA KT800, if memory servers me right.
