Fedora Core 3 in VMWare 4.5.2 on WinXP Host -->How to install VMWare Tools?

I'm running the Fedora Core 3 in VMWare 4.5.2 on WinXP host. But I could not
succedded to install the VMWare Tools. Is there something special in VMWare
4.5.2 and/or FC3 to install VMWare Tools?
