Hi
I installed apache 2.0.54 tar.gz on FC3. (configure, make , make install,
make clean).
I used the default folder of the INSTALL file which is /usr/local/apache2
Now to have Apache up I must type the fully qualified url.
I end up with two versions of apache on the system.
What is the best ?
Remove 2.0.54 from the system so I can reinstall it over the original
version (/usr/sbin/).
or remove the last one and have the new one linked correctly.
If the second solution is chosen, how do I do that ?
I installed FC3 as a server but with no database or language (mysql or php
or anything else). I want to install the newest versions of everything.
I first installed FC3 qith everything and tried to upgrade but I ended up
with lots of dependencies problems and upgrades wouldn't set. So I decided
to do it from scratch.
Thanks
