I installed Redhat Professional Workstation on a dual Opteron Tiger
motherboard. After registering, I ran up2date and updated to current.
After rebooting, the software finds hardware (such as video card) the
original install missed, and after I enter the userid and pasword, the
computer freezes - even the mouse becomes inoperative.
I installed and updated 3 times ( lost many hours of work) but I can't get
Linux to work. As of now, Redhat has not yet returned my call.
Anyone else has experienced this type of problem? updating?
