ufs - ext3 similiarities

    Dear Gurus ,

    How can i find more information about ext3 filesystem. In sun solaris ,
    ufs file system canbe tuned by changing the maxcontig and maxphys
    parameter .What are the parameters in redhat linux ?

    For the ufs , by issuing :

    mkfs -m /dev/xx

    i can get maxcontig info. (cluster size)

    and by issuing

    tunefs -a 128 , i can change the parameter.

    I want to tune my ext3 filesystem how can i do that?
