SCSI Tape Drive - Power On Swap

Hi

I know the answer is most likely no or don't try it but what is the
likley hood of being able to swap a SCSI LTO tape drive with the server
still running? We are changing from LTO to LTO-2 and would prefer to do
this without downtime.
