We have a new OBM Bladecenter with 7 RHEL 3 AS servers installed in it.
We are having an issue with the CDROM device. The whole Bladecenter
has 1 cdrom that get shared between all the blades. The Blades see the
CDROM as a USB device. The problem is, if I select the CDROM to be on
one blade, then move it to another, the original blade gets high load
and high IO wait. I am sure to umount the cdrom volume before I move
the CDROM to another blade. Even if I move the cdrom back to the
original blade the load still stays real high. Anyone else see this?
Thanks!
