Hello,
Recently i bought a cisnet desktop which as 6 usb ports and
windows xp home pre installed. I have partitioned the hard disk and
installed fedora 4. The installation is good but for one thing, in the
post installation, it never asked for creating boot disk. I did not
install grup on mbr but on first partition /boot. naturally i had to go
to linux rescue option to boot in to installed linux. i did chroot
/mnt/sysimage to get the shell. Now i get in to the real problem. I am
unable to get my usb HP floppy drive recognised using either of the
following commands:
mount /dev/sda -t msdos /mnt/floppy [/dev has sda and sda[1-14 , i
tried all]
mount /dev/sdb -t msdos /mnt/floppy [/dev has sda and sdb[1-14 , i
tried all]
Every time it says: mount: No medium found.
My lsmod as the follwing usb modules: uhci_hcd and usb_storage

Can you guys help out here. I am in a desperate situation to get that
boot floppy created.
Thanks in advance,
