I've recently installed Redhat Linux ES3 on a normal IDE drive, and
added the Adaptec 2400A IDE Raid Controller AFTER the install. I've
build a Raid-5 array out of four similiar drives and from the hardware
end everything is working properly. Kuduz comes up saying it found new
hardware and I configured it but I can't seem to find the device to
partition and mount. Are there extra steps I need to take? Where should
I look? Here's what I've skimmed so far from dmesg:
[root@cybervid scsi]# dmesg | grep md
md: md driver 0.90.0 MAX_MD_DEVS=256, MD_SB_DISKS=27
md: Autodetecting RAID arrays.
md: autorun ...
md: ... autorun DONE.
Thanks for any help,
Micheal
