    Sorry !.
probably a was not clear enough. I have serched on google and on
    www.linuxprinting.org before to post here.
I will try to explain better.
I have tried to set up the printer using the "setup" in Redhat. I have used
the proper driver ( epson fx ) or raw printer ( in italian is different but
il the 3° choice in the menu ). Both using lpd or jetdirect the printer as
the same problem, seems to print properly a few jobs but after a while
stops. The only way is to turn off and on the print server.
When i do the test i use the normal line printing command
lp -dxxx filename or simply date | lp -dxxx.
Seems like a comunication or buffer problem. When the printer stop printing
i do not see any job in "lpstat -t".
I have tried the graphical setup but i had the same result.Again if i
connect a laser printer to the print server everythings is ok.
Few person told me that there is not chance to print on a dot printer using
a printer but i just want to be sure before to give it up.
