Just as a matter of interest. I picked up a Seagate Travan 40 IDE/ATAPI
tape drive for £2 and I've stuck it in a external USB2 enclosure.
Windows 2000 and XP can see and use the device but how would one use it
from Fedora Core 1. Would it appear as sdx type devices like USB disks
or would it appear as something else?
If the above worked how would one that start backing up to it?
