In a RAID-1 array one of the disks has problems, but only on some
partitions, not all of them. I thought that a disk problem affects all
partitions of this harddisk. Not in this case (see /proc/mdstat below).
What does it indicate, if only some of the partitions are affected?
Do I understand this right, that /dev/sda2 and /dev/sda7 have problems?
This is /proc/mdstat:
Personalities : [raid1]
read_ahead 1024 sectors
Event: 7
md0 : active raid1 sdb1[1] sda1[0]
104320 blocks [2/2] [UU]
md1 : active raid1 sdb2[1](F) sda2[0]
20482752 blocks [2/1] [U_]
md2 : active raid1 sdb3[1] sda3[0]
8193024 blocks [2/2] [UU]
md3 : active raid1 sdb5[1] sda5[0]
6144704 blocks [2/2] [UU]
md4 : active raid1 sdb7[1](F) sda7[0]
35583872 blocks [2/1] [U_]
unused devices: <none>
TIA
Stephan
