K3B problem

Hi,

I tried using K3B today, but it did not start like usual anymore. Instead
I was getting the following error message:

kbuildsycoca running...
KCrash: Application 'k3b' crashing...
Unable to start Dr. Konqi

This problem possibly started after a "yum update" where recently KDE libs
were updated. But I'm not sure about this. Anyone else having problems
with K3B that were not there before.

Another, related, question: I want to create an Audio CD from a collection
of WAV files. No problem with K3B, but what commandline tool(s) and
options do I need to do the same job from a commandline ? (Yes, I will
read some more man pages. But some help from real human beings is always
welcome)
