Re: install hangs

ahh, sorry about that,
its a blue colored screen 'Fedora core'
its after choosing keyboard mouse, etc and passing a media check
it thought about it for a while, loading from the cd for probably almost 5
minutes
its the first cd, FC4-i386-SRPMS-disc1.iso
with a 6/6/2005 date from
http://mirrors.usc.edu/pub/linux/distributions/fedora/core/4/i386/iso/
i checked it with the sha1sum totals and burnt the cd with nero
its going on a disk with win2k already installed in another partition, the
win2k works ok
the /swap is 512mb and the / is 5 gb
its a pentium 3, 566mhz, aopen mx3w pro-e board, 256mb memory, latest bios
1 hard disk, 1 cd player, 1 floppy, on board ethernet
