I currently have a Fedora Core 3 install running a Matrox G400 analog
AGP video card. I just got a new LCD panel and want to take advantage
of its digital input. I'm thinking of getting a Matrox G550 AGP card
with both digital and analog output. I'd like to just pull out the old
card and plug in the new card and have it work right away, without
having to search for and install a bunch of other stuff.
Is that possible?
Are there any other DVI AGP video cards that you could recommend?
Can they be simply plugged in and used right away with a Fedora Core 3
system?
I don't have any need for fast 3D stuff - 2D is just fine for me.
