even i have the same issue , i tried with the rpm procedure but it is
saying no such file or directory so i tried to install the driver using
the tar procedure.
i untar the file and tried using the make command but i got the kernel
source tree not found
when i saw in /usr/src/ there were no directories except debug
no redhat or linux inside the /usr/src/
but when i quried the
# rpm -qa | grep kernel
kernel-2.4.21-4.EL
kernel-utils-2.4-8.37
kernel-pcmcia-cs-3.1.31-13
iam confused it says the kernel rpms are available but there is nothing
in /usr/src/
do i need to link anything outthere or do i need to configure the
kernel
i just installed the redhat ES-3 and trying to install my broadcom NIC
driver .
how to make this work..without internet on the redhat is like living
with paralysis.
