Now that I can see my Win XP printer now I need to load the drivers for linux. I have a HP Officejet 5500 series. I downloaded
hplip-0.9.7.tar.gz. I didn't see an RPM download so I got this one.
So how do I install it.
I'm using Red Hat 9 and it's connected to a P2P system. There are 2
XP machines which share this printer quite well. I'd like to be able
to print out some stuff in Linux.
I've got the Red Hat 9 Bible. Lets face it sometimes a book can only
help so much. Its nice to get feedback from someone who knows.
