according to the documentation you're citing there's no need for the
format and a simple overwrite is sufficient.
I took it to mean that I can simply run the growisofs command on a
dvd-rw that has been previously recorded
and it would do the rest, but
it refuses to do this claiming
that the disk is not empty or some similar error.
Would you know what actual argument combimation does work, or whether
'overwrite' means using some other tool?
