upgrade FC4 to glib 2.8 ?

I have a program I'd like to try (tilda) but it wants to use glib 2.8 or
better. Can anyone help me with how I upgrade FC4 for this requirement ?
Or is it something that I really don't want to do, given that everything
else I have runs really well ?
