Yes, but do not use ghost (it does not understand about Linux bootloaders).
As a suggestion visit; http://www.sysresccd.org/Main_Page and check out the
Partimage portion of the downloadable SystemRescueCd. The SystemRescueCd is
a very nice tool to have.
I suggest you also take a look into Mondo Rescue - a free tool for performing
baremetal recoveries. Its a great tool!
