Nothing in /var/log/messages and nothing being sent to the remote....
syslog server.
/etc/syslog.conf
*.* /var/log/messages
*.* @10.3.3.26
On both the client and server:
ps -auxw | grep syslogd
Is the syslogd running on the client, and is the syslogd running with the
"-r" option on the server? Is the route even possible between the two? If
you'll post the output from both machines, someone may be better able to
advise you.
