I've been poking through fedoralegacy.org and getting ready to do some
updates to my RH9 system.
Unfortunately, a lot of the documentation pages say that the first step
is to update to rpm 4.2-1 and the fedoralegacy version of apt - both of
which are said to live on download.fedora.us
The documentation is all about a year old, and since then, it seems
like the fedora.us domain has been retired (at least I haven't been
able to reach any of the machines in a few days).
So... perhaps someone can enlighten me as to which versions of rpm and
apt are the best ones to use for maintaining an RH9 system, and where
to find authoritative copies.
Did you try with Dag repository? http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/FAQ.php
