playing mp3

Using fedora core 4

I installed xmms using yum
It played mp3 file w/o any problem
and I tryed to change font of display and suddenly, it complained about mp3 license and it won't play any mp3 anymore...i reinstalled xmms but it still wouldn't list nor play any mp3 files

Has anybody come up with this kind of problem yet ?
