Sub Domains

Hi , Could someone please tell me the simplest way to set up a sub-domain on
Redhat FC 4?

I don't want to mess up my DNS and have read a few articles on it.

I wanted a subdomain such as xyz.mydomain.com

and also still use my regular domain, mydomain.com

Thanks in advance to anyone with an answer.
