I have installed FC5 on my ex-work desktop with T84H flat panel (max
resolution 1280*1024,75hz), however when I startx, the screen is locked
at 640*480 at 85Hz.
No amount of changing the display settings or editing of xorg.conf makes
any difference...
Does anyone know how to resolve my problem ?
Appreciated, Jim
(ex-work = plant closed, work transferred to China, Hungary)
Just to clarify,
I also tried
Linux text
Linux noprobe
Linux resolution=1280x1024
and when in linux text selecting various other monitors with no
improvement.
Try a lower resolution. I had to manually add my screen's resolution and
change v/hsync values in /etc/X11/xorg.conf
.
