Hello everyone,

I have read through GNU Makefile manual and can not find related
description of the following strange target name in Makefile. What
makes me confused is the sign '%' and ":: ;" string.

Example 1:

--------------------
% :: $(Foo);
--------------------

Example 2:

--------------------
%.test :: ;
--------------------

What do they mean?
