Can someone point me to *detailed* instructions for getting IE to run on
a redhat 9 system?

IE will *not* run on any version of Linux that I know of... although I've
heard there is a Unix version

Yes it will if you have Win4Lin. Win4Lin9x allows you to run Win9x on top
of Linux. If a program runs on Win9x it will run on Win4Lin9x. There is
also Win4LinPro which can run XP and 2K on top of Linux. However W4LPro is
much slower than Win9x. Win9x runs at native speeds, Win4LinPro is
painfully slow.
