Hi,
I am still a beginner on linux and I want to install the Intel(R)
PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection driver on fedora core 5 kernel
2.6.15-1.2054_FC5.
Firstly the basic ieee80211 interface need to be installed.
I have some serious problems installing the ieee80211 interface on my
computer.
I tried with the versions 1.1.2, 1.1.12, 1.1.13
For all versions I get the same error message:
,
[root@localhost ieee80211-1.1.12]# make
Checking in /lib/modules/2.6.15-1.2054_FC5 for ieee80211 components...
Stop........... why are you trying to build something you do not need to????
First read; http://www.fedorafaq.org/#gpgsig
install the keys and use the yum configurations files as per;
http://www.fedorafaq.org/#installsoftware
then do something like;
yum -y install ipw2200 ipw200-kmdl
