reformat or rename hard disk partition

Hi,
I am newbie in Linux red Hat. My problem:

In One disk is installed Red Hat Entrprise 4. The second disk has 3
particular partitions (ext3): /apps ; /quar ; /vlogs
I need delete /quar and /vlogs partitions and create one: /opt ;
keepeing /apps
In Red Hat ES4, how could I reformat o repartition de 2nd. disk? I need
to have this partitions: /apps and /opt

In mandrake Linux I could do it using Control Center (Create,
resize..partitions), but in RedHat ES 4
I can not see a gui tool to rename, delete, resize partitons.
Is there any "Partition Magic" for Red Hat ES4?
Which command I can use to do this?

Thanks,
Roberto Morales
