For 5-6 days now yum has tried to update wine for FC4. It keeps reporting /usr/bin/xmessage does not exist and is needed by wine-core. That is correct. xmessage is under X11 directories. So just for fun I copied it to /usr/bin and still yum reported it was needed.
Now I cannot be the only person with the problem. What I find odd is the problem has lasted so long as people how know how to report problems must have done so by now.
I have daily yum runs so everything was up to date before this problem arose.
Any suggestions on the best course of action?
Speaking of odd, today there was a problem with some perl updates an Apace and an Exif module. I removed those and then updated just perl which went fine. Then I ran to update everything and wine updated without a complaint.
