Sorry if this doesn't show as a reply... Google Groups seems to be
having issues. Thanks for the suggestions on audit-daemon (as this box
went from RHEL 3AS original, to U7, and later U8. Although this was an
everything install (SunRay software requires this for support), it does
not appear we have audit-daemon installed (it's not in /etc/rc.d/init.d
and the log directory /var/log/auditd.d does not exist). Is this an
install from Redhat Extras, or is it ever called something else?

RE: RHEL 4 Update Procedure ... route of having an identical test server to apply all updates to before we put ... At the moment we rely on too many third party apps that are not in RHEL... Once you install that Red Hat is not going to support it. ... before setting up a server.... (RedHat)
