uncorrectable sectors

what does this mean?

how can i fix it?

fedora 4

It means you have bad sectors on the hard drive which cannot be used to hold
data. the smart daemon has mapped and marked these sectors as bad so they
will not be used.

You cannot fix it, but you can replace the harddrive (which is a good and
recommended idea).
