Fedora 6 remote printing pain

Hi all!

My Xerox DocuPrint P8e printer is connected to windows 2000
professional station at office. I used to print from FC3/4/5 via
samba.. all was ok until i tried FC6! I could install and configure
the printer successfully (as the system-configure-printer shows) but
when i try to print .. just nothing seems to work!

I tried to connect the printer directly (LPT) and printed via CUPS!!
to my great misery, it worked!

Samba is configured and running.. CUPS is configured and running

could it possibly be a bug?

any advice guys!!!
