I'm using Redhat. It's between two disks.
Apache, all data and database are in the primary disk.

What distro are you using? More important does the copy take place
between two disks or from one part of disk to another part of the same disk?

Is the Apache software or data (webcontent) on the same disk as the I/O
you do with the copy?
