where is fedora going ??

I have a scirpt ( since RH7.3 ) that:
1) connect to my ISP
2) download my mail ( using fetchmail )
3) send pending mail if any ( sudo /usr/sendmail -q -Ac -v -f
me@xxxxxxx )
4) disconnect from my ISP

It is most of the time run frm cron at 2:30 AM

Since Fedora 6, sudo claim "must be run from a tty "!??!?!?!

When I installed Fedora 6, I had problems with :
scsi tape drive , why the hell is that bloody OS unable to load the
moduls when it find a device!?? as lspci shown the scsi cart whel
identified.

also: I wanted to read /wriet DVD but:
totem, needed to be removed, yum xine kafeine totom. When run some
plugins are still missing !??
Finaly I had everything and it work, BUT why do I need to go on
internet all the time. This machine is supposed to stay offline and
only downlooad e-mail!??

why can't the distribution be complete!??

Documentations, with RH7.x to RH9 you could find html documentation in
a tarball readyto be instlled on your web server. Now !? where are
they? of cause with2 releases a year, there is no such 'stable
release' and no time to document..

I am a bit scared about upgrading to fedora 7, did anybody has
exprienced this!?

If Linux want to replace Windows on the dsktop, It need not only a
better coherences between release but also coherence within release.

Imagin some user dealing with probles like 'yum yum, oh ..
