thanks alot for the help you give us , its really good .Now i have a
problem i'd like when im running linux i can automatically boot
windows next time by making it the default boot option temporarily
(current default is linux)just like in lilo doing something like :
$ lilo -r dos
$ init 6
and it would boot windows, is there a similar command that uses grub?
Newbie, need to retieve data off ntfs drive. can Linux help? ... I can't boot windows, can't repair or ... there a "lite"/mini linux that runs off CD I can run that might be able to ...download off dialup; but don't mind letting a download go all night, ... (comp.os.linux.setup)
