Creating a bootable hard drive image

I'm running Redhat AS3 and I'm trying to create a bootable image of
the SCSI hard drive so that I can simply set up another machine to
boot from the DVD drive and load an exact copy of the first hard
drive.
I know how to use dd to copy from one hard drive to another but
unfortunately I need to burn this image to DVD and make it bootable.
Any suggestion?
