I know how to use dd to copy from one hard drive to another but
unfortunately I need to burn this image to DVD and make it bootable.
Any suggestion?

Hey,

Not certain on this, but mkisofs has a '-hard-disk-boot' switch that
seems to be what you are looking for. I would try 'dd'ing your disk to
image, and try that one out. Other people should be able to
confirm/deny this.
