Recognizing expanded VDisk

SERVER info:

/>uname -a
Linux unix18.umsmed.edu 2.6.9-34.0.1.ELsmp #1 SMP Wed May 17 16:59:36
EDT 2006 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

We have a VDisk (on Xiotech magnitude) attached to SERVER. Its
original size was about 150G. I expanded it by 25G. I cannot get
SERVER to recognize the new space.

Device is /dev/sdc1 mounted as /lawdb/dev

/>fdisk -l (Other devices not shown)

Disk /dev/sdc: 157.2 GB, 157294788608 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 19123 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sdc1 1 19123 153605466 83 Linux

/>mount (other mounts not shown)
/dev/sdc1 on /lawdb/dev type ext3 (rw)

When trying to add a new partition I get No free sectors available.

/>fdisk /dev/sdc

The number of cylinders for this disk is set to 19123.
There is nothing wrong with that, but this is larger than 1024,
and could in certain setups cause problems with:
1) software that runs at boot time (e.g., old versions of LILO)
2) booting and partitioning software from other OSs
(e.g., DOS FDISK, OS/2 FDISK)

Command (m for help): n
Command action
e extended
p primary partition (1-4)
p
Partition number (1-4): 2
No free sectors available

I have run kudzu. It didn't pick anything up. Anyone have any ideas?
