"... getting the error ..." exactly how?
Upon startup. That's all I really know since the window doesn't seem to
have a title or any other info besides the error but since it's
mentioning KDE it seems one could somewhat derive it might be kdeinit or
something KDE related.
Please post the entire results of
ls -la /root | grep top
drwxr-xr-x 10 root root 12288 2007-09-20 13:54 Desktop
What is "it" that's saying that? You'll get far more help if you don't
require people to play guessing games.
How about we play the "I don't know EITHER" game because I don't know
what *it* is beyond the error message itself. I'm guessing just as much
as anyone else at this point so how about backing off of the antagonism
a bit...I know you're trying to help but an antagonistic approach is not
helping anyone. I wouldn't have posted here if the message were clear
enough that I could find where it's coming from and why.
