Re: FC7 YUM Update problem?

Yesterday, YUM mysteriously stopped working on two different FC7
installations. When I start either the software updater tool or the
"Add/Remove" tool from the GUI, I get a brief message stating that its
starting, and then nothing ever happens. I tried to use the yum extender
on one system, and it seems to be sitting there trying to access a
series of mirrors and constantly getting "Metadata file does not match
checksum" failures. Are the FC7 repos offline or corrupt? I don't seem
to have this problem with my FC6 systems.....

Has anyone else seen this?

Yes, dont worry. Use also Synaptic or Smart (use Yum for installing them).
It is also possible updating only security patches: install yum-security,
then write in shell:
yum --security update

.
