Incorrect. The web server usually listens for requests on port 80, and
serves requests to the client application on various upper-range ports >
1024, usually much higher range.

Is there a way to prioritize the ASTERISK application (service) than
HTTPD ?
"man nice" to see how to set priority for any given process.
