Customizing gnome

Hi,
I'm running RHEL4 (Nahant) with Gnome/GDM. I'd like to customize my
desktop, so a certain "xset" command is run everytime I log in. In the
old days I would've stuck it in .twmrc.

This sounded easy, but I can't figure out which file I need to
update. I updated the following already:
1. .xsession
2. /usr/share/gnome/default.session
3. Ran gconf -> desktop -> gnome -> accessibility (long shot, I know)

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
EL
