I don't believe there is a tui package provided for that on RHEL5
(it's now system-config-printer). You could simply open a browser from
another machine and connect to the server on port 631 (cups) and
configure it that way, assuming the firewall is not blocking it.

Is there seriously now zip in the way of cool text UI things...?

There isn't a swith to it somehow that makes it work in text mode...?

I couldn't find a man page for it. :(

There is a system-config-printer-tui for RHEL4 although I can't find one for RHEL5. It appears to be removed as I can't find on the red hat network for RHEL 5
