lftp get and filename error

Hi,

I used lftp in a script which downloads files from a remote server,
there was no error but I got a file with a ~.

Sometimes i get a file with a ~.

I have seen this before but I thought only when there is an error does
it leave files with ~.

What is happening?

How can I prevent this from happening, and what d
.
