How to Export Evolution Addressbook

I am trying to migrate from 2.0.2 CentOS4
to 2.8.0 CentOS 5.1 x86_64. The import selection
enables outlook, csv, vard, etc; but not evolution.
The 2.0.2 addressbook.db file will not open in 2.8.0, if I
just copy it over. The RHKB has an article about gconf settings.
Is that really necessary for just the address book?
When I save the book to text, I get VCARD line headings.
If I knew the import format(s) I could edit the text file
and perhaps then import it as a csv.
